Day Job.
For the past few decades I’ve been fortunate to spend my weekdays doing design work of one kind or another.
I keep the below pages behind a password, please contact me if you would like access.
Design Systems Case Studies
I’ve been working with design systems since 2017 before we all knew they were called design systems. I am passionate about this work and have created multiple case studies as a result.
UX Design
I’ve had decades of exposure to UX practices and mentality, so I’ve picked up a few things.
Visual Design
In my heart I do art, making visual design and pixel pushing a natural habitat for me.
How I work
I use Figma, Adobe CC, Procreate, Jira, Confluence, pens and paper. I lean heavily into process and strategy to keep things moving smoothly. I am on the front lines for clear comms and will always work hard. I have a strong work ethic and like to keep it real.
I fully engage in meditation and Reiki, music and rocking out, escaping with movies and tv, and spending time with the people I love. These are but a few reasons why work / life balance is a non-compromise for me. I do not live to work, as they say. I work to live. I am usually laughing.
I try to check my ego at the door and collaborate as a supportive member of a team. I accept without question that there will always be more to learn, new paths to uncover and cool people to work with. Whatever adventures lie ahead, as long as I get to keep using my creativity, I’m good.
“Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.”
